The Olympic Stadium

The Olympic Stadium, formerly an arena with 100 000 seats, one of the nicest in all of Germany, stands as an excellent example of both Nazi architecture and Nazi racist delusion. It was here at the Olympic Games of 1936, that the Nazis hoped to convince the world of German superiority.

We will visit the Olympia Stadium as well the nearby sports facilities including the Maifeld, the swimming stadium with 7500 seats, the hockey stadium with 5000 seats and the nicest riding stadium in Europe and more and learn about the time in which these sport facilities.

242 million Euro were spent on the reconstruction of the Olympic Stadium.  It's worth a visit!
