Berlin and Prussia- the historical tour“

On January 18th 2001 the Prussian Kingdom would have turned 300 years old. Today, we can still find many traces of the old capital of Prussian kings and emperors throughout the historical part of Berlin-- many glorious buildings, plazas and streets which are not only beautiful but offer fascinating stories as well.

What did Friedrich the Great mean, when he said „ es möge jeder nach seinem Fasson selig werden (everyone should be happy in his own way)“. Why did the „Berliner“ call their kings „Dämel (fools)“ and what was the biggest impudence of Napoleon in regard to the people of Berlin?

One of our most popular and most beautiful walks!
