The Berlin Wall

Traces of the Berlin Wall can be found everywhere in Berlin; Checkpoint Charlie, Brandenburg Gate, Bernauer Strasse, Eastside Gallery and the Potsdamer Platz. As a native I spent many years in the shadow of the Berlin Wall. While many of us don't know or remember a lot about border crossings, transit visas, watchtowers, my memories haven't faded. I remember the 155km Wall and what it was like to live inside it.
